MS Office 2000 Word losses available fonts

by james . Updated 19 years, 2 months ago

For an unknown reason, my MS Office 2000 lost one (or more) fonts – specifically cooper black.

MS says this may be a function of too many fonts, so I reduced the number by a dozen or so.

Now I try to recover Cooper Black font, but find that I no longer can find any MS software that I own that has it. I think MS said it can be found in a Value Pack, and/or Word 2003 or Publisher 2003.

I have downloaded other free Cooper Black fonts, but they do not replace the MS version, as they appear with suffixes, like Cooper Black LT. When I open documents and templates that had the Cooper Black font. I get wingdings or cursive words or spaces. I do not want to have to edit this each time I open a document.

Can anyone suggest a way to get a replacement MS Cooper Black font so that I do not need to go out and buy software for this little annoyance?

Thanks muchly
