I’ve encountered a problem printing from office 2013; as soon as you hit: print, office crashes.
I am running Win 8 Pro x64, and Office Professional Plus 2013 x64. After many attempts; what worked was the following:
In Word 2013 Click File>Options>Advanced>(Scroll down to Print options) and deselect the second option [Print in background]. Maybe some printer drivers do not allow background printing.
Please note that you ALSO have to do this in MS PowerPoint.
I couldn’t find this option in Excel, Access, Publisher, InfoPath, or OneNote. Maybe these MS Office programs will take their main options from Word.
However; the above did not work with another user with the same configuration. What DID work with him was uninstalling 64-bit Office and using 32-bit instead.
Have you had the same problem with printing from Office 2013? If so, how did you solve the problem?
