What version of Office do you have installed?
With that info, I'm sure I can help.

There is not a way to 'download' the Office ToolBar. But I CAN tell you how to add it (even if you have 2003 or newer).

The instructions are different depending on which version you have installed.

Love that toolbar...

I keep a less recent version of Office on hand just for the toolbar. Why MS did away with it, I'll never know...

Here's my favorite alternative

Rather than installing it as a partial install from an older version, I like to just create my own using one of thesee two options...

"How To Set Up an Office 2003 Toolbar":
(easier - normal toolbar)

"What?? No Office Shortcut Bar for Office 2003??":
(harder - more featured toolbar)

For both, when it refers to 'using a shortcut folder.' Use the folder found in your Programs directory (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs) or some other folder that contains shortcuts to the Office Apps.

In order to 'drag' a new toolbar off of the taskbar, you will need to have the taskbar 'unlocked.' Once a new toolbar is off the taskbar, you can dock it to an edge, customize it and set it to Auto-Hide if you like.
