MS Office Word 2003 won’t save files. The File > Save As… option doesn’t do anything, nor does File > Save or clicking on the Save Icon in the toolbar.
It’s not a permissions issue, it happens locally and on network folders. For example, I can create a new Word Document on the Desktop (or any given folder) by right clicking and choosing New > Microsoft Word Document. I can then open /edit this file, but it won’t save. I can also open / edit other files in these locations as well.
It doesn’t affect other Office apps either. Excel works fine, for example.
Attempted the repair tool from the install CD. Attempted uninstall / reinstall as well.
