MS Project Flags

By abednego ·
Can anyone tell me how to use functions in MS Project to create graphical indicator flags (red, yellow, green lights) to indicate the status of tasks (whether they are behind schedule, critically behind schedule or on time). I know how to create custom fields and graphical indicators, but I can't figure out how to use the functions that come with MS Project in order to set up the kind of test I described above. Thanks

Hi

You need to right-click the column heading for the column which has the text or numbers.

Then, choose "Customize Fields". That brings up a dialog box. At the bottom is a button for Indicators, which lets you set up indicators based on formulas.

Hope this answer helps you on your way to setting up indicators.

See my answer to your question under Developer and project management. That should be clear enough. Else it is time that you react!
