I’ve recently added a new Proxy Server that is replacing our old Proxy Server. Both are 2.0.
Using IEAK, I’ve moved the majority of the existing users to the new Proxy Server (via an updated .INS file), but for some reason, I still have some users going thru the old Proxy Server. Nobody is using Winsock.
Rather that just shutting down the old Proxy Server, I’d like to “block” those users going OUT thru the old Proxy Server and serve up a web page that instructs
them that they should begoing thru the new Proxy server, and then send them
the new .ins file to update their browser settings.
How can I re-configure MS Proxy to direct these users to a specific site/page?
