Dear Friends,
I have a PDC and a BDC running windows NT4.0 sp6, and the PDC is also web server. MS Proxy server 2.0 is installed on it and also its hotfix SP1.
Everything was normal until I changed my site to another folder in my IIS 4.0 and after that get it back to the former folder. From this moment on I was not able to browse the internet at my desktops. ONly from PDC and BDC I could do it. And the strange point of it is that only one desktop now is able to browse the internet.
WhenI changed my site from one folder to another and got it back to the original folder I couldn’t browse it unless I remove the configurations of LAN setting in my IE5.0. I didn’t change any configuration in my proxy, however now I’m in deep trouble, because there’s no more internet access via proxy in the enterprise, only one desktop and the servers. I have checked the proxy configurations and I didn’t find anything that I could call bad setting. After checking the configuration in the IE of the desktop which browses normally I found there the following:
tools internet options connections lan settings?
all the checkboxes in this page were unchecked
however in the boxes Address is written http://myserver?80/array.dll?get.routing.script andin the Address below http://myserver port 80
Any suggestions?
