Im comparing MS Proxy 2.0 with Linux E-Smith server. MS Proxy 2.0 is installed on an NT platform. We’re using MSProxy since last year. Weve noticed that MSProxy 2.0 is much slower than Linux(E-Smith Server). Ive checked all the settings in MS Proxy including its cahe and SNMP. There is no problem with the processor and disk. Also I’ve already upgraded SP4 to SP6A. What seems to be the problem?? Linux(E-Smith Server) is obviously very much faster in either way, browsing or downloading. Both servers are using the same connection (64K satellite). What shall I do to increase the speed of the MSPRoxy 2.0, its downloading and browsing>??
