When using Word’s explorer to open folders some folders can be viewed by file type .doc and others can be viewed by file type .rtf.
The problem comes when you double click on the folder to view the files, you don’t see any (they are all .doc files), but the program makes you click on RFT file type in order to see any files. Is there an issue with the folder properties (properties does not show anything unusual?) What could cause this display problem in Word? Whenever saving documents Word prompts “Do you want to save as an RTF document?” and I have to answer no.
