MS Word not printing Text Boxes

Very strange, Neither in print preview nor for actual printing can I see the contents of Text Boxes. After I go into print preview and see everything except the contents of text boxes, when I return to normal view I still can’t see the contents of text boxes until I change something on the page. then they reappear, but they still wont print.
