I’ve literally just started playing with Windows 2000 Pro and the first thing I want to do is turn off much of the junk that starts automatically when Windows launches. In Win98, MSConfig would let me select little checkboxes to turn on/off items that launched during startup. Easy points to the first person to tell me of a similar command in Win2K (or how to disable starup objects if they don’t appear in the Startup folder!!)
