MSCONFIG FOR WIN95????

By PeeJay ·
Hello Everyone:
I have a question... In Windows 98, if you go to run and type in msconfig, you will get a list of everything in your "task manager" and you are able to just check what you want on/off. You can do this instead of having to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and having to click end task on each item. Is there anything like this on Windows 95? The Msconfig program doesn't work. If there is something like this, does it come with 95 or do you have to download it... Please help..

P. J.

When you hit Crtl+Alt+Del in 95, it gives you a list of all of the programs running... In 98, at the run prompt, type in msconfig and it gives you a list of all of the programs running... In 95, to end any of those programs running you must click end task which means if you want to close more than one programs you must hit Ctrl+Alt+Del numerous times... In 98, a screen comes up where you can actually check on/off which ones you want running... This means you only have to type in msconfig one time and you can shut down as many programs you want at once... Is there a feature like that on 95?
