msg Attachments

Here’s the setup:
Outlook 2000, Exchange 5.5, the exchange is for internal mail and internet mail is downloaded thru the internet connector at each client (not by the server) from the ISP, where we have pop3 mailboxes. All mail is stored in the exchange mailboxes.

Here’s the problem:
I cannot send attachments that are *.msg (these are outlook messages). I can send *.msg attachments from Outlook Express and Outlook 2002 but not from Outlook 2000. I have tried all combinations of mime, unicode and formats. I have tried different profiles on different computers but no go.
I will give the pionts to the answer that works for me.
