After cleaning a system from a virus/worm I am unable to start windows 98 in either Safe mode or regular mode becuase of error running MSGSRV32.EXE. The error message: “MSGSRV32 caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel32.dll at address 015f:bff7b983” and will not allow windows to start up. Any help would be appreciated.
I can re-install the system with no problem, I just do not want to spend the time to restore the OS and apps unless I have too.
