MSI

Hello,
I am running Windows 98 and need to know how to get my PC to open MSI files. The problem is I looked on Microsofts site and found a redistributable version of the installer V2.0 however when I downloaded and installed it it just told me its already up to date, however I cannot open any *.msi files and I need to be able to.

Anyone have any idea’s on how I can fix this?
