Msimn.exe and explorer.exe error

When I try and copy from outlook express and paste to microsoft word I get a Msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.Then the Explorer error. Now I did a repair, a manual uninstall, and reinstall of outlook express 6. I Repaired then uninstalled then reinstalled microsoft office 2000. I went to view the event log and it will not open desriptions to the event errors ????? I double click on the event and it will not open.Can someone please help me ?
