MSIMNinvalidpage faultmoduleKERNEL32.DLL

By PhiltheGreat ·
I have faced this error when I am opening Outlook express.
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL
Then the computer crashes.
Two more errors are appearing randomly too:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module WS2_32.DLLMSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module MSHTML.DLL

No solution in the MS knowledge base can solve the above problems.
I have tried this:
1) virus check; 2)adapter driver; 3) repair IE 4) update with SP2. (my IE5.0 -->IE 5.5) 5) latest security patch 6) No AddOFF! is used 7) the hardware acceleration unused; but no way to solve.

What's your idea?
Plus, it is not possible to re-install with the lastest version; because I have just upgraded to the SP2.

Chances are you are your password list is damaged
Click Start->Search->Files or Folders
type *.PWL in the box, make sure the drive to search is listed
click Find Now
when the password files are listed, delete them all, close the window and Reboot computer.

This is also in MS knowledge base; but it does not work. My problem continues to exist. But now it crashes only when I try to open an e-mail. This error appears.

Constant error messages of this type ,you may want to consider wiping the drive and doing a clean install of the operating system, sounds as though the registry is to corrupt to fix.
Backup needed files and reinstall the operating system

Why affect the whole system because of outlook only?! I have a lot of other programs in this computer. I have shifted to use Nescape Communicator to get the e-mails and the MS messenger to take care of hotmail accounts. They can serve me and no needto re-install the whole things. But any one knows how to fix the outlook express problem?

Since I am sure that the outlook express has problem, so I ask one of my friend. He said use "windows updates": In one of the "tab"; it is the installed components in your computer. Choose this; and then find outlook express, then re-install it.
Yes, it fix my problem.

But after one time use of the outlook express, it crashes and gives the error:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module WS2_32.DLL
So I use the "windows updates" method: but this time I choose the 5.5 SP2 and then use the customized options and I choose all the components. Then it is cured.
