msn not connecting…

everytime i try to login to msn messenger or msn explorer it just doesn’t seem to connect!

the internet still works fine though and ive tried reinstalling both messenger an explorer. i also tried restoring my computer to an earlier date but that doesn’t seem to work either…

any ideas would be greatly appreciated
