Fix if still issue

by shuff1 In reply to MSN/XP

You can remove the MSN icon by right clicking on the bar and go to customize toolbar and remove it there. The windows messenger under the tools menu I am not sure how to remove it, but I know how to disable it from working.

Open an instance of gpedit.msc from the run line and go under computer configuration, administrative templates, windows components, and then highlight windows messenger and in the right window, enable both settings, this will stop them from working. Do the same procedure under user configuration and it will apply to all users that either logon or have accounts on the boxes.

Hope this answers the question for you.
