Try to restore Sql and get the error “3242” “is not a valid Microsoft Tape Format Backup Set”. We check SQL versions, builds, srv pcks, and still get the same error. We have made several dumps. Create the a system from scratch, same error. We evenget error trying to restore master from the command line in single user mode. Microsoft identifes the problem, but does not give a good answer on how to resolve the problem. Sure could use some help.
