we are using warehouse management system, which is developed in vb and sql 2005 database.
this software we are using from last 4 years.
Now the users are getting very slow response for the database queries. we found that there are 2,50,000 records in incoming table, 2,00,000 records in outgoing table and around 50,000 records in storage master ( current stock in warehouse). can any one help me out how to split the database / how to tune the database for the better performance.
