multi-boot went to single boot?

by mica819 . Updated 16 years, 9 months ago

im using winxp home sp2, and i do some tweaks on my boot system,
i had multi-boot before but after i applied some tweaks, when i restarted my pc, it goes blackout, so, i re-install a new copy of same OS and leave the current intact,(and with a small luck, i saved the C: drive & D: drive) and for some unknown reason, my multiboot, becomes single boot now… what went wrong when i applied this code:

this is exactly the code:

timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Microsoft Windows XP Professional” /fastdetect /noguiboot

i changed the Professional to Windows Xp Home

and it goes like this:

timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Microsoft Windows XP Home” /fastdetect /noguiboot

i want to bring back my multi-boot…help please..thanks!
