    Multi-Linking or Channel-Bonding under 9

    I’m looking for a step-by-step (screen shot preferably) for setting up dual modems under windows 95 / 98. This may include using the ‘Wizard’ to do so. If you know of any other links that have this information, that will work as well… Thank youin advance.

      This actually could not be easier (no screen shots required)… Simply set up both modems normally on different com ports (after making sure that they are dual-analog capable, or at least one is, such as diamondmm’s supraexpress 56k), then create adialup networking profile with one of the modems (the dual-analog/MLPPP capable one if using one modem w/o MLPPP capability). Once the profile is created, right click the profile and go to the properties page. Select the “multilink” tab, and select “add” toadd your other modem to the profile as an “additional device”. Then dial into any machine that supports MLPPP or MPPP+ and you are double-barrel… yeah, baby, yeah…
