multible remove and replace macro

I need to make a multible remove amd replace macro. I have sixty words that are to be marked with a * or an added letter, like P for passive.
@20 years ago I tried to make this one, and I butchered it. Since then I know a lot less than before. Could someone lead me by the hand.
