Multiple Hardware, need diffrent ips

By nhra1 ·
I am running windows 2000 pro on my laptop, and have to change my ip address everywhere i go, i thought if i made profiles for all sites, entered the info once, then it would be saved, and wouldnt have to change it again. But this did not work, I still have the same ip for all profiles. Anyone have any ideas, tips or suggestions for me to try please.

Thank you

Trevor

Hi, it sounds as if a utility called "netswitcher" may solve your problems:
http://www.netswitcher.com
Hope this works well for you.

Did you try giving your interface more than one ip address?
Go to the properties of your LAN connection, choose the TCP/IP properties and go to it's properties. Click the Advanced button, and there, if you are NOT using DHCP, you can enter more IP addresses for the same interface.
