I have discovered several NT Workstation 4.0 systems on our network that are creating multiple user profiles. They are all NT 4.0 with SP4 an upgrade to a different SP is not an option and Microsoft has not indicated this to be the problem. So farthe only fix we have found is a complete rebuild. This is very time consuming as well as annoying. They do not have anything specific about the platform that is common. The registry is of ample size and there are not authintication problems. I have also encountered this problem on a PDC on a different network. Microsoft has to as yet provide me with an answer. Only serious answers will be given credit so dont waste time trying to get that 600 points unless you know what it takes to fix the problem.
