Need to configure 20 laptops to logon and use 1 of 5 STATIC IP addresses assigned per laptop (100 IP’s total). It is a wireless setup using WIN 98 and Novell. The building is all using the same subnet but is divided into 5 “zones” (xxx.xxx.070.001, xxx.xxx.071.011, etc.)Depending on which zone the laptop is in at logon, it needs to recognize the appropriate static IP and logon using the necessary IP address. Is there anyway for the laptop to ‘scroll’ through a set of assigned IP addresses until it recognizes one that it can log on with? No DHCP.
