I’m looking for a good solution for a school with 900 students and 300 PC’s.
It is one Windows 2008 Domain Controller with Windows XP Prof and vista clients.
I want every user to get the profile from the local pc. But Sometimes a user sits on another pc in the same classroom and of course they are not always in the same classroom.
I tried to point the roaming profile to \\server\share\%computername% and that works fine for the first user that logs on, but the second, third,… Seem to have problems…
Only when you upgrade them to domainadministrator, then everything works fine but we do not want that!
How would you do it?
