I have a system that, when it boots, opens 3 Explorer windows to the desktop – 1 for each hard drive in the system. Nothing in the StartUp folder or the StartUp group under msconfig indicates that this should be happening.
I have done a clean install of WinMe twice now, and the problem has re-occurred (after a while). All Windows Updates have been applied.
Programs installed:
IE 6
Norton Antivirus, Utilities, and Firewall
Microsoft Office 97
Microsoft Money 2001
I appreciate any help you can give.
