Muti Display card shows only one monitor

By dajrhighguy ·
I installed a nivida 440mmx video card in my agp slot on my computer (has two VGA outputs). Installed drivers from manf. Only one monitor is given as an option when trying to change display settings. Whats the deal? Running windows 2k pro and two LCD monitors. I have done the same procedure one another machine running XP with no dificulty. Checked the works fine....both displays work fine.

The card displays on both monitors during start up, right up to the point of loggin in. Is their a setting that I am missing some where....please help!

You should have a display icon in the tool tray, this will let you set properties. In properties make sure you are not moving from Monitor to Monitor and that Dual display is selected.

Also, update you system BIOS if available.

If you don't have a NView Desktop manager icon on the tool tray, it will be in the control panel.

Open it and click the Windows tab. Here you can set the spanning options for th emonitors.
