Windows 2000 Pro allows you to add mutiple static gateways and Ip's, is there any way of auto switching between them? I have a person that uses a laptop in two different subnets and would like to make it so she can just plug and play without reconfiguring her Ip's at each location...We will be going DHCP later on but right now we are static...

I dont know but if you had dhcp then you could just type in at the command promt: ipconfig /renew "name of the connection" and it would get an other ip address from the network.
From my experience it's problem without DHCP. I heard there are commercial software which allows you to change network settings (something like switch profiles). But on practice we just used 2 different NIC cards and have had each hardly configured for it's own network.
