MX record for exchange

Is it possible to setup one MS Exchange 5.5 server
to accept/send e-mails for two different domains
for example and
Do I need two MX records created.

Yes x 2. You need to MX records.
One for and one for, both pointing to the exchange server.

This answer depends on how you have your domain name pointed. If you have all traffic for the domain pointed at your server address, then no you do not need an MX record. MX records are only needed if you want to point your mail traffic to a different address than your web traffic. You do however have to tell Exchange that it will be excepting mail from 2 different domains. To do this, just open you Exchange Administrator console and drill down to the connections dialog and select properties.You will now have a window with multiple tabs. Go to routing. On this tab you will want to put your domain names in. You will also want to select restrictions and limit the use of this to authenticated users only. Hope this helps.
