My 1tb wd passport ultra has stopped working. When I plug in the hard drive into my laptop (running windows 8.1) it is recognized. But u click on the hard drive and it takes a while to open and then it makes One click sound and then opens. But when I go to click on a folder I get this error message “G:\Movies and Videos is not accessible. The device not ready”. I don’t know what to do can someone help. Can I recover data and save my hard drive?
