My ASUS Tablet has a cracked screen. What do I do next.

By danielbrittian ·
The screen on my Asus Transformer tablet is cracked to the point of not being able to be used. The warranty will not cover it. I have tried to get a hold of asus to see how much it would cost to get it repaired but it is a royal pain. Is there another way to get it repaired, or would it even be worth it ( I spent about 400 dollars on it). Please help if you can.

A quick search revealed several options on Nextag,

prices from around $60 to over $80 for replacements. The real problem would probably be teardown and reassembly. Might be a guide here at TR. Here's the link to Nextag

Found a "teardown" article here at TR

Maybe these can help??
