my browser can't find some server

By ethaniel88 ·
About for 2 months, i can't access some sites (getting message "can't establish a connection to the server at" OR "can't find server at")like and on my laptop from GoogleChrome, Firefox, safari even IE. I don't know why because previously it was just fine. Then i tried using Opera, it loads fine only when i turn on opera turbo. But if i turn off Opera Turbo, i can't access the site and get message "Couldn't locate remote server". Why can this be happen? Does that means their server are down? Tried to unplug all the network connection for 15 seconds & turn off source power but still the same.

Probably network latency.

How is the internet service where you are? It may be due to network congestion, bad routing, bad line quality, government blocking websites...

Do you use your ISP's DNS servers? You might see if you can use an alternate DNS provider. I would not recommend OpenDNS in your part of the world, but Google offers this. &

It probably works with Turbo because Opera caches websites for Turbo.

If you just have really bad network quality, you can raise the connection timeout setting value in your browsers.

On the off-chance, and since it is easy, scan your computer for malware.
