What OS is this under?

by OH Smeg Moderator In reply to MY COMPUTER ICON is Missi ...

Also have you tried booting in Safe Mode and scanning the system with your AV and whatever Malware Scanners that you may have installed?

Make sure that your AV Product is up to date and if you do not have any Malware Programs loaded you can download Malwarebytes

and Spybot S&amp

From the above links if you do not have them already. After you install them and update as required restart the system in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 Key when the System Makers Logo or POST Screen appears and then when the White on Black Screen appears using the arrow keys highlight the Safe Mode and press enter.

When the OS is open and running in Safe Mode scan with your AV product till it is either clean or you are unable to remove something and then repeat the scans with the Malware products again till the system is either clean or you are unable to remove something.

If you are unable to remove something post back here with what it is and someone here will walk you through the removal process.

Also is this on a Network and if so what kind? Also does your User Account have Full Administrator Rights?
