If I use windoze Explorer, or type ‘c:\’ in the Start-Run window, I can happily explore the root (and subsequent directories of my C: drive.
However, If I launch ‘My Computer’ I can see the drive, but when I try and explore it, the window hangs up and has to be terminated using the old ‘three fingered salute’.
What could be causing the problem? I have tried everything from registry cleaning, to defrag and scandisk ?
