Installed programs are:

Check the configuration of your spyware installations,it may be configured to search at startup, one of the above is set to scan the drives at startup.

Also this may be true for the AVG,so check it also.
You can open msconfig depending on operating system and check the startup tab it will list the programs that are loaded at startup.Try unchecking the programs listed above one at a time to see if the problem is caused by either.

are you connected to a network?
computer could look for new network connections.

Is this computer on a network? Does it have mapped drives or printers? Should this be the case, I would suspect that there are mapped drives to resources that are no longer available. This could be because the mapped resource is on a computer that is down or the share has been changed or removed. The same could apply to mapped printers that are no longer available. SP2 will turn on the XP firewall and mapped resources will not be available until after the firewall is configured to allow access to shared resources.

You may need to check the settings for the Kerio firewall as well and insure the computer is being allowed mapped resources to access the computer.

Could you give us more information concerning the networking of this computer?

I hope this helps you.

I have been true all my applications and
stopped them from running at startup.
Disabled Network, too.
Nothing helped until I plugged of my Printer.

It was almost the cheepest way to solve.
Now it looks that the USB if my Printer doest
work anymore. OR
Yes I did not configure the XP Firewall and I need to
try this next time I get close to it.
And will tell here if the configuration of
the XP Firewall makes it possible to use the Printer again,
like I used it once before !??!

Thanks to everybody !!
