So around the beginning of last summer, my computer had started to frreeeze while playing WoW, i talked w/ tech support and we discovered that the problem was that my computer was overheating, so what i did was take the side off of the tower and i have a fan blowing into the computer whenever i play WoW, its been fine for months until now. Recently, my computer froze once or twice and now the computer simply will not turn on. I press the power button, and the tower turns on, the mouse, the keyboard, and the monitor light is on near the buttons but it does not turn on. It has turned on a few times, but then freezes again. (it hasn’t turned on for about 2 weeks now) I have checked to make the video card is seated correctly, it is. I’ve switched monitor cables and monitors, nothing works. I’ve also checked if the power supply has a blown fuse because my friend suggested that, i could not find the fuse on the power supply after about 15 minutes of looking, but everything else looked fine on the power supply. When i turn the computer on, i can press one of the buttons on the monitor and it will say “check signal cable” and the message will float around, i’m 100% sure that its connected and i’ve checked multiple times to make sure. My cable did get a bent pin, but i bent it back….i’m not sure if that would matter because a different cable did not work either. I’ve made sure the sound card and ram are seated properly also. I don’t know what else to do. So any suggestions anyone? Thanks
