Alright alright I know this isn’t really a question but I thought I would share this with anyone who gives a damn.
The other day I advised somebody on here that to have 2 hard drives fitted to a pc each with identical copies of Windows XP loaded and using the same license key was probably illegal and should not be done.
I have researched this a bit more and it turns out that maybe it isn’t illegal at all as long as both (or however many you like I suppose) only use one CPU or so says the EULA for Win XP home edition.
That said does it follow that my impression that each installation of virtual pc needs it’s own license is a load of old crap?
