Problem: My CPU usage 100% after 5-15 minutes every time. Short of shooting the damn thing these are the basic things I’ve done. I have replace hard drive with new one, old was cooked, and I’m running windows XP on DellDimension about 5yrs old. I’ve run HJT/Uniblue reg cleaner/Mcafee latest,greatest/zonealarms/spybot/spyware doctor.Last log I just sat and watched task mgr. SIProcess runs fine as it should and then ‘system, SYSTEM 220K’ eventually overtakes it, replaces it, and usage pegs out immediately and it’s downhill from there.
