my docs folder redirection on XP Pro

I run a 50 person Win 2K/term server network at a CPA office. I went through imaging our PCs with Ghost to XP Pro. Some of my older Dell laptops Inspiron 3500 seem to have messed up folder redirection. GP is set to redirect \\term1\mydocs\%username%. I used a dummy id "image" to configure the laptops before creating an image....It seems just on 3 older laptops that the folder redirection shows as \\term1\mydocs\image...instead of the user who is logged on name. Also the find target button is gone....I have disabled the sync because of access errors the user would get when logging off. Any fix for this besides reimaging?

easiest way to do this is through Domain group policy:
\\user configuration\windows setting\folder redirection\my documents, right click on my documents, then select properties
