My laptop does not recognize the SATA Hard Drive I have anymore. I bought in September of this year and just recently started connecting and disconnecting through the USB 2.0 port of the laptop. The enclosure has power light on and the fan works also, but the laptop will not recognize it as USB device anymore. The HD is about a year old. It is SATA Western Digital. Are external hd enclosures known to not work after 3 months? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
