I got a Maxtor 6gb Hard Disk Drive I am using almost everyday. Suddenly, My computer can’t detect it. I don’t have back-up with my files. The CMOS doesn’t recognize it :(. Can I still recover the data? Some says, I just have to put in cold area. Thedisk doesn’t have strange sounds. I believe that one of the wires in my pc was grounded. Does this one cause of this? Thank you.
