Hello sir,
I am using HCL-EZEEBEE DESKTOP (Purchased in DEC 2006).My system is not booting. It is showing that
“Windows couldn’t start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
system32DRIVERSpci.sys
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM.
Select ‘r’ at the first screen to start repair.”
I put the win-xp installation(bootable) CD and tried. After POST,it is showing Press any key to boot from CD.And after pressing a key,in the next screen it is showing “setup is inspecting your computer hardware config.”
In the next screen windows setup starting & hangs-up(I waited for maximum of 8-10minutes & noticed no progress).I am unable to solve this problem. Is the HARD DISK is crashed/damaged?Through setup menu I noticed hard disk as SATA HDD.How do I solve this problem on my own(if u suggest/guide)?In case of HDD failure, does my HARD DISK is having 3 Years warranty & be replaced? Please help me soon, all my works are pending. Please, please help me.If I had to contact HCL service centre at HYDERABAD,how do I find phone numbers/address.
