My laptop is on but doesn’t show display

Hi, my laptop stopped running and thought it was a windows issue. But when i hit the power button its fan starts for few seconds and lights on but display doesn’t come up. Thought it would be a RAM issue and cleaned its RAM but issue is still there? What do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance

Change the RAM Slots and try again.

Yes. That’s the reason. One of the RAMs slots was not good. I have removed RAM from the slot and now working perfectly with 1 RAM. Thanks.

This can be the motherboard or anything on it (which is much more than RAM). Plus the graphic card if it isn’t on the motherboard or the PSU.
