Ok so, I sent my laptop into the manufacturer, giving them my battery and my new power cord. I took the hard drive out to give it to them. They put their own hard drive in and my battery charges and the system runs off of battery charger. They send it back to me. I get it back and I reinsert my hard drive, now my battery will not charge and the laptop will not run off of battery power. It will attempt to calibrate the battery but simply shuts off and will not actually do anything. What the heck is wrong with this thing?
