My New [b]HP laptop [/b]which runs on windows XP [b]will connect at my office [/b]but will [b]not connect anywhere else.[/b]
After succesfully connecting and using the internet at my office
I tried using my laptop’s internet at my home. I went through all the steps of checking for a wirless Network and connecting to the Network. The Wirless icon showed that the laptop was connected to the internet with [i][b]”Excellent”[/b] [/i]strength but when I attempted to open up the internet explore browser the infamous ” Cannot find internet server” message came up on any page that I attempted to visit.
I don’t understand how I can connect to the internet at my office but not at home.
I have used many laptops in my home that easily connect to the internet so it has [b]nothing to do with how my home network is set up. [/b]
I have even tried using the internet from my laptop at my husbands office, but the laptop will not connect there either. The internet only works for my laptop at my office.
Any suggestions?
