MY OFFICE 2007 KEEPS FREEZING WHEN OPENING 2003 DOCUMENTS

I have some excel documents stored in a shared folder. They are in office 2003 format and I have office 2007 format on my PC. Every time I try to move with my excel document,it freezes. What could be the cause

How are you moving these?
If you are clicking and dragging them from one directory into another (via Windows Explorer) then it may be a problem with the operating system, file size, hardware capability, etc. In fact, it could be almost anything.

You should give some more details on your problem, like, for example, what exactly is it that freezes (ie: one particular window, the whole pc, the Excel application)?
