Okay so for a while now my Presario has been overheating and turning off. So finally, I got sick of that opened it up and cleaned the fans. Put it all back together and then turned it on…only to have it turn off and on and off and on. So I opened it up again, and reconnected everything.
Now it started to boot to something that said something or other about MBA I tried reinstalling the OS because apparently that dissappeared. Now it boots to black. It doesn’t even say “This is an Hp” like it used to… I just get NOTHING. But the HD is good, the RAM is good… is it salvagable, or completely destroyed?
